What’s the difference between “Passivhaus” and “Passive House”?

There’s no real difference — “Passivhaus” is the original German term, and “Passive House” is the English version. Both refer to the same energy-efficient building standard. But not all “passive homes” are certified—they might just use some of the principles (like insulation, airtightness, passive solar gain) without meeting full certification criteria.
